Dexter
A village of about 4,000 located eight miles west of Ann Arbor; Dexter is the unofficial gateway to the area's lakes and metroparks. Founded in 1824, Dexter is another of the county’s villages with an agricultural heritage. Although a few farms remain today, most of Dexter’s residents are professionals working in Dexter, Ann Arbor or the greater Detroit area.
